The next monthly meeting of the Keweenaw ATV club will be held on August 4 , 2025. At the Hubbell VFW. In Hubbell Mi. At 7:00 pm We will discuss old and new projects. If you adopt a section of trail, we will have maintenance packets. Thanks to all these volunteers. We will set a date for the fall ride. please attend and bring a friend.

Copper Country Community Band Announces Summer Concert Series The Copper Country Community Band is proud to present a series of five summer concerts across the Keweenaw. Under the direction of Amy Johnson and Micah Erickson, this all-volunteer group of approximately 35 musicians from across the Copper Country will bring audiences a lively mix of marches, classic concert band repertoire, and popular medleys. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. – the Monday, August 4th concert has an admission fee of $5 for adults at the door, to help the Keweenaw Heritage Center with their roof replacement. All other concerts are free to attend.

Courtney Lake Horse Camp and Ride August 9, 2025 ride with MI-TRALE equestrians members on the beautiful Courtney Lake Trails and Campground. The 14 miles of mostly sandy trails takes you through a diverse forest landscape, around and near two lakes and across the Firesteel River. Six of the 21 campsites are set up for horses with corrals. Campsites are on a first come first serve basis and you pay at the campground. There are dispersed campsites options nearby, as well as parking areas for day-use visitors.
