Junior Angler Fishing Workshop Friday, June 26th from 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm Ojibwa Campground Day Use Area, Lighthouse Road, Baraga   Learn fishing skills from experienced fishermen!  Fishing supplies will be provided.  Family members are encouraged to observe. Ages 5-16 or younger with parental supervision.   Register with KBIC

GITIGE he/she gardens   VOLUNTEER WITH US Debweyendan Believe in it People’s Gardens Saturdays:  9 am – Noon   2026 Season Dates June 27 July 11 & 25 August 8 & 22 September 12 & 26 October 10 & 24   Lots of ways to help with gardening, including mulching, weeding, harvesting, pruning, and watering.  In appreciation of your assistance, you can select a high-quality garden tool or a gardening book whenever you engage.  Everyone is welcome, including beginners.   Our community Teaching Garden, located at 16037 Brewery Road in L’Anse, is cared for by the KBIC natural Resources Department. 

The Ontonagon Rural Electrification Association (REA) is preparing for its annual member meeting. The meeting will take place on Saturday, June 27th at 10 am at the Chassell High School. There will be lunch provided and prizes, but please note that this meeting is for members of the REA only.
