    Eagle Mine to offer Free Public Tours of Facilities CHAMPION, Mich., April 22, 2025—A series of public tours of Eagle Mine facilities will be offered during the summer. Tour locations will alternate between the Eagle Mine in Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Champion on Thursdays from July to September.     The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is seeking public input on the Marina Fiscal Policy. City Staff have recognized a significant increase in marina-related costs and capital improvements. To offset costs and mitigate the financial burden on the City, incremental increases in fees are being proposed.     Tuesday, August 19th at 4pm, the Gemini Moon band will be at the library to perform! Gemini Moon performs guitar-driven originals with male/female lead vocals and harmonies, as well as fresh interpretations of classic and modern covers. The group is influenced by 90s alternative and 60s/70s classic rock, as well as blues, pop, and folk from all eras. The band’s original songs feature themes of love, hope, and courage among others.
