    Eagle Mine to offer Free Public Tours of Facilities CHAMPION, Mich., April 22, 2025—A series of public tours of Eagle Mine facilities will be offered during the summer. Tour locations will alternate between the Eagle Mine in Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Champion on Thursdays from July to September. PWPL will be accepting gently used & clean Halloween costumes and dress-up apparel starting August 4 for the Halloween Costume Swap. Families can attend the costume swap on Saturday, September 23 and look for a new-to-you costume!   • Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library Summer Events: Gemini Moon

    Tuesday, August 19th at 4pm, the Gemini Moon band will be at the library to perform! Gemini Moon performs guitar-driven originals with male/female lead vocals and harmonies, as well as fresh interpretations of classic and modern covers. The group is influenced by 90s alternative and 60s/70s classic rock, as well as blues, pop, and folk from all eras. The band’s original songs feature themes of love, hope, and courage among others. Gemini Moon blend these influences together into a playful, loving, and family-friendly musical space with balanced tones and mindful volume.
