    Eagle Mine to offer Free Public Tours of Facilities CHAMPION, Mich., April 22, 2025—A series of public tours of Eagle Mine facilities will be offered during the summer. Tour locations will alternate between the Eagle Mine in Big Bay and the Humboldt Mill in Champion on Thursdays from July to September. Tours of the Eagle Mine will be offered on the following dates from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: June 19, July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21, September 4, and September 18.     On Saturday, September 6th, the Marquette County Suicide Prevention Alliance along with several community organizations, businesses and community members will be walking for the annual Marquette County Walk for Hope to benefit local suicide prevention/postvention programming in Marquette County. The annual walk will be held in-person in Ishpeming at Al Quaal. The Walk Committee urges all community members to attend to honor the spirit of the event and recognize suicide prevention, suicide loss survivors, attempt survivors, and family and loved ones of those who struggle.
