The annual Copper Country Rock and Mineral Club Gem and Mineral Show will be held again this year at a new location: the Hancock Middle School at 501 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI across from Portage Hospital. Show dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 7, 8 and 9. An array of vendors will have gems, minerals, fossils, copper, and gift items for sale. Each day the CCRMC will hold ongoing silent auctions of local mineral and copper samples. All kids will receive a free ‘grab bag’ of mineral samples, and can prospect with a metal detector to find real Copper
