  • Chassell – Let’s Eat Free Community Meal

    Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 42905 Wilson Memorial Drive, Chassell, Michigan

    The event is sponsored by the Let’s Eat organization and the preparation will be done by its original organization members and the Sisters of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Chassell, a long-time supporter of our program. The menu includes Sloppy Joes, one of our all-time favorites, vegetables, dessert and fruit. And, of course, the meal is free to all guests and takes place between 4 and 5:30 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on US-41 on April 27.

    Great Lakes Poetry Festival Afterglow Event  Sunday, April 27, 2025, 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.  Rippling River Resort.  Adults, Seniors, Teens.  PWPL closes the 2025 Great Lakes Poetry Festival with this afterglow reading by Gala Malherbe, Ronnie Ferguson, Troy Graham, and two-time U.P.     Fandom Fun: It’s Raining Tacos! Wednesday April 30, 2025. 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Peter White Public Library Great Room. Youth of all ages, get ready for a fun filled (non-food) taco party! Join in the fun from picture book “Dragons Love Tacos” with taco sensory play, create a bright and grooving fiesta mobile, “Taco & Pizza” party games and more!
