The UP200 is hosting the 10th annual UP200 Dryland Dash on October 10 and 11, 2026! This free-for-spectators event will start at 9am each day at Negaunee Township Park. There will be races for wheeled rigs, scooters, bikes and cani-cross with 1, 2, 4 and 6-dog teams, all competing on a beautiful two-mile loop. When: 2026.09.11-13 Where: City of Marquette City of Marquette residents are invited and encouraged to participate in the communitywide “Trash to Treasure Weekend” beginning Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13. The purpose of the program is to provide a venue for the recycling of reusable household items such as furniture, lamps, electronics and other working household items. The program is designed to increase awareness of recycling by creating an alternative means of reusing items that would otherwise end up in the landfill.    Guidelines: Residents can place reusable/serviceable items in front of their house on the curb no earlier

Families can attend the costume swap on Saturday, September 12 and look for a new-to-you costume! No admission charge, costumes are all free. Drop off gently used and clean costumes to the Teen Zone or Youth Services from now -September 11. All Costumes will be free of charge.  No donation needed to attend the swap.
