Join renowned musicians, performance artists, and poets Ronnie Ferguson, Beverly Matherne, Jesse Koenig (current U.P. Thursday and Friday, May 29-30 7:30 p.m Panowski Black Box Theatre Northern Michigan University Theatre & Dance will usher in Pride Month with a Drag Cabaret at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 29-30, in the Panowski Black Box Theatre. Thursday’s show will be followed by an opening night party with appetizers, beverages and a meet and greet with the cast and team   Tickets are $25 for the general public; $22 for NMU faculty/staff, seniors and military; $15 for students; and $5 for NMU students. Eagle Mine will host a series of community forums throughout Marquette County to provide updates on its operations and engage directly with local residents.   The forums are designed to create an open, two-way dialogue between Eagle Mine and the community. Monday, June 1, 2026,  6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Shiras Room.  Teens, Family, Adults, Seniors. Join fiber artist Jody Trost for a Beginner Needle Felting Workshop. Learn basic needle felting and leave with your very own handmade felted project. Felting starter kits and wool provided. Please bring a small pair of scissors. Want to download travel apps before you leave town? Need help utilizing the library’s Memory Lab or navigating Libby? Learn how to make your electronic devices work the way you want, with the help of Christine Ault, retired teacher and teach coach, Tuesday mornings from 10 AM – 3 PM during June, July and August in the Local History Research Room of the Peter White Public Library. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices.
