    On August 9th, the 26th Annual Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic in Marquette County, Michigan makes its return! As the state’s largest point-to-point, mass start mountain bike race, this exciting event draws thousands of riders and spectators to the area. From rugged trails to incredible views, it’s an unforgettable day of outdoor adventure.

    Courtney Lake Horse Camp and Ride August 9, 2025   ride with MI-TRALE equestrians members on the beautiful Courtney Lake Trails and Campground.  The 14 miles of mostly sandy trails takes you through a diverse forest landscape, around and near two lakes and across the Firesteel River.   Six of the 21 campsites are set up for horses with corrals.  Campsites are on a first come first serve basis and you pay at the campground.  There are dispersed campsites options nearby, as well as parking areas for day-use visitors.   Your are about 4 miles from the Bill Nicholls Multi-use
