    Better Together will meet on Thursday, September 10 at 9:30 at Zion Lutheran Church at 400 Ingot Street in Hancock.  The speaker will be Maura Leinonen and her topic will be, “Joyfully Following Jesus.”  Special music will be provided by Kristin Kytta of Chassell.  All area women are invited to attend this fun and inspiring event. A brunch will be served and there is a suggested donation of $10.  All proceeds over the cost of the event will be donated to local charities.     When: 2026.09.11-13 Where: City of Marquette City of Marquette residents are invited and encouraged to participate in the communitywide “Trash to Treasure Weekend” beginning Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13. The purpose of the program is to provide a venue for the recycling of reusable household items such as furniture, lamps, electronics and other working household items.
