All Saints Day Wilderness Walk Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Chassell Cemetery, Hancock St., Chassell * Following the Wilderness Walk, we will be gathering at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chassell for a bonfire, warm drinks, and snacks. The Wilderness Walks are opportunities to connect with God and each other in an outdoor natural setting.  Each walk has a leader who will guide the walk and stop along the way for readings and reflection.  The walks are appropriate for all ages including families and children. The inductees are being recognized for their lifelong dedication to improving the lives of working men and women in the Upper Peninsula.

    St. Ann’s Catholic Church Hunters’ Supper Drive Thru Event will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, serving 4 – 6 p.m.  Pick up on Lyons Street at the Main Entrance.  Dinner includes Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Bean Casserole, Rutabagas, Coleslaw, Pickled Beets, Rolls, and Assorted Deserts.  Tickets are $15 and are available from St. Ann’s Parishioners, the Parish Office in L’Anse (906-524-6424) or in drive thru line on day of event.

    November 3-29.  Peter White Public Library is once again partnering with the TV6 Canathon to help feed our hungry neighbors. From November 3 – 29, the library will serve as a collection point for food items to help stock our local food pantries. As an added incentive to donate, the library is offering Food for Fines, a program that allows library users to resolve overdue fines with the donation of non-perishable food items. For each non-perishable food item brought to the library’s circulation desk, $1.00 in overdue library fines will be forgiven. There is no limit to the dollar amount
