Saturday, June 6, 2026.  Show 1: 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. |  Show 2: 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Community Room and Youth Services Room.  Summer Reading 2026 “Unearth A Story” kicks off with a truly special show from the Bright Star Theatre – Dino Academy: A Dinosaur Discovery Show! Kids will get to take an unforgettable field trip through time during this action-packed adventure featuring life-like, colorful dinosaur puppets that will stomp, roar and charm their way into every heart. The show is best for kids PreK-5 th grade; kids of all ages are welcome.

Saturday, June 6, 2026.  10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Peter White Public Library, George Shiras III Room.  Join mindfulness meditation and yoga teachers as we discuss various topics related to mindful living. Each month, teachers will present a topic that addresses the different dimensions where we can practice mindfulness and presence. The intent is for us to cultivate mindfulness, care, and well-being individually and in our love, business, and social relationships. Summer Reading program and stop by to pick a prize and grab your Teens Read! Card. Want to download travel apps before you leave town? Need help utilizing the library’s Memory Lab or navigating Libby? Learn how to make your electronic devices work the way you want, with the help of Christine Ault, retired teacher and teach coach, Tuesday mornings from 10 AM – 3 PM during June, July and August in the Local History Research Room of the Peter White Public Library. Tuesdays, June (2, 9, 16, 23, 30) 2026.  6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Fridays, June (5, 12, 26) 2026.  Noon – 1:00 p.m. Peter White Public Library Heritage Room.  Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer two in-person mindfulness meditation programs each week this summer. Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices. Wednesday, June 10,  6:30 p.m.  Meet at and return to the Marquette Regional History Center Where we’ll go on this tour is a “mystery,” but it’s a short walk to the one place in Marquette where you can see more history than in any other.
