Tuesdays, April (7, 14, 21, 28) 2026.  6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Heritage Room.  Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer a weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation program. The sessions begin at 6:00 pm followed by a period of fellowship. Dr. Debra Smith, a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and psychologist, will deliver brief talks exploring various aspects of meditation and its impact on our lives. This month, come and enjoy family fun at game time! There will be games set up throughout the kids’ room for families with kids of varying ages. Wednesday, April 15, 2026:  4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Marquette Food Coop Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to register for a cooking class at the Marquette Food Coop. We will be making Mexican Sopes with refried beans and homemade salsa. This class is gluten free and vegetarian. Very hands-on! Wednesday, April 15, 2026.  6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Community Room. Adults, Seniors, Family Friendly. Folk group Mustard’s Retreat has been delighting audiences for 40 years. Learn about Libby and Superiorland Library Coop, library apps offered to patrons. Bring your phone or tablet and learn how to place and manage holds, renew items, and create reading lists. The first half hour will be an overview and the remaining time will be spent assisting with specific questions and answers. Make sure your tablet or device is charged, and you are signed into the PWPL Wi-Fi under your settings menu.
