  • NMU Presents ‘Rocky Horror Show’

    Northern Michigan University Theatre and Dance will host its production of The Rocky Horror Show Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 23-25, in Forest Roberts Theatre.  The show will be directed by NMU Theatre and Dance alumna Maisie James (’25) under the mentorship of assistant professor Kaitlyn Frotton. This cult classic humorously pays homage to B movies from the science fiction and horror genres spanning the 1930s to the early 1960s. The plot follows a newly engaged couple who, after being caught in a storm, find themselves at the mansion of a flamboyant transvestite scientist, Dr. Frank-N-Furter.
