    Veterans Hockey Game at Dee Stadium to Raise Funds for Tunnel to Towers and Strengthen Community Support Across the Upper Peninsula The Michigan Upper Peninsula Veterans Hockey Club will return to Dee Stadium on April 18 at 7:00 p.m. for its annual game against the Minnesota Warriors. This year’s event raises funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides direct housing and financial support to Gold Star families, injured veterans, and first responders facing serious hardship. The foundation is known for keeping administrative costs low and ensuring donations reach the people who need them most. Admission is five dollars,

  • Resurrection Symphony by Gustav Mahler

    Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts 1400 Townsend Drive, Houghton, Michgian

    The Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra at Michigan Tech is performing the Resurrection Symphony by Gustav Mahler on April 18, 2026, at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts. It is the finale of the Rozsa’s 25th anniversary season. The symphony lasts an hour and a half and is the largest choral-orchestral work ever presented in the Upper Peninsula. This will be the first performance of the Resurrection Symphony in the Upper Peninsula, 132 years after its composition. The symphony is massive, with 10 horns, 8 trumpets, 4 trombones, an off-stage brass choir, two harps, organ, large symphonic choir, and soloists. Members
