We are now accepting applications for the 2026 26th Annual Holiday Art Sale, to be held at the Marquette Regional History Center on Saturday, November 14 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. There is limited space for this show and there will not be a tent this year.. Incomplete applications will be an automatic disqualification via the jury from the sale. A delegation of seven Higashiomi citizens will arrive in Marquette on July 19 and depart on July 29, 2026, Our seven delegates are the Deputy Mayor, a Higashiomi City Council member, Higashiomi City Staff, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Higashiomi International Exchange Association, and Higashiomi citizens. HARVEY, MI – Silver Creek Church will host its annual Backpack SOS community outreach on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Silver Creek Church in Harvey.   This year marks the 20th year Silver Creek Church has provided backpacks and school supplies to local children. The drive-thru event is open to children Pre-K through 12th grade. Children do not need to be present, and no pre-registration is required for this drive-thru event.   Each child will receive a backpack, age-appropriate school supplies, a pair of socks, a hygiene kit, and a voucher for three free outfits from Silver Creek

Visit the Old Victoria Historical Site on Sunday, August 16th to experience a piece of history at the 43 rd Annual Craft Fair. The free event will take place on the grounds of the historic copper mining village just outside of Rockland from 10 am to 5 pm EST.
