KBIC Health System will be hosting our Sports Physical days for children participating in school sports for the 2026-2027 school year.  Please call ahead and schedule your child for their sports physical.   Appointments can be scheduled from June 22nd to August 7th.  To schedule your appointment or with any questions, please call 353-8700.   Please pick up a sports physical form to fill out before your child’s appointment. Each child will receive a goodie bag and water bottle with their sports physical.  Children up to date on their immunizations will receive an extra gift.

GITIGE he/she gardens   VOLUNTEER WITH US Debweyendan Believe in it People’s Gardens Saturdays:  9 am – Noon   2026 Season Dates June 27 July 11 & 25 August 8 & 22 September 12 & 26 October 10 & 24   Lots of ways to help with gardening, including mulching, weeding, harvesting, pruning, and watering.  In appreciation of your assistance, you can select a high-quality garden tool or a gardening book whenever you engage.  Everyone is welcome, including beginners.   Our community Teaching Garden, located at 16037 Brewery Road in L’Anse, is cared for by the KBIC natural Resources Department. 

The Ontonagon Rural Electrification Association (REA) is preparing for its annual member meeting. The meeting will take place on Saturday, June 27th at 10 am at the Chassell High School. There will be lunch provided and prizes, but please note that this meeting is for members of the REA only.
