KBIC Health System will be hosting our Sports Physical days for children participating in school sports for the 2026-2027 school year. Please call ahead and schedule your child for their sports physical. Appointments can be scheduled from June 22nd to August 7th. To schedule your appointment or with any questions, please call 353-8700. Please pick up a sports physical form to fill out before your child’s appointment. Each child will receive a goodie bag and water bottle with their sports physical. Children up to date on their immunizations will receive an extra gift.

Middle schoolers invited to Heads UP, July 21 in Hancock Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has partnered with UP Health System – Portage for Heads UP – a Youth Wellbeing Event, an exciting day of food, fun and fitness for students entering grades five through eight. Heads UP is on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Quincy Green in Hancock. Copper Country Angel Mission Starts Annual Socks & Undies Drive for Local Students Help Local Students Start the School Year with Confidence Copper Country Angel Mission is launching its annual Socks & Undies Drive to collect new socks and underwear for local children in need, from toddlers through teenagers. The goal is to help every school-aged child begin the year with dignity, comfort, and the confidence that comes from having brand-new essentials. Distribution The Angel Mission is again partnering with The Salvation Army – Copper Country – Bread of Life Center to distribute these essentials through CCAM’s
