KBIC Health System will be hosting our Sports Physical days for children participating in school sports for the 2026-2027 school year. Please call ahead and schedule your child for their sports physical. Appointments can be scheduled from June 22nd to August 7th. To schedule your appointment or with any questions, please call 353-8700. Please pick up a sports physical form to fill out before your child’s appointment. Each child will receive a goodie bag and water bottle with their sports physical. Children up to date on their immunizations will receive an extra gift.

Feeding America West Michigan 2026 mobile food pantry distribution Location: Sacred Heart Church Calumet Category: Free Community Event Description: A free drive through event at Sacred Heart Church Calumet serving up to 320 households with fresh produce, dairy, grains and other staple food items. No appointments; no payments; no income verification required. Watch for signs on US 41 and Lake Linden Ave. in Laurium to follow entry and exit of the drive through event. Volunteers will help direct you and place your food box into your vehicle. In appreciation of your assistance, you can select a high-quality garden tool or a gardening book whenever you engage. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. Our community Teaching Garden, located at 16037 Brewery Road in L’Anse, is cared for by the KBIC natural Resources Department.
