KBIC Health System will be hosting our Sports Physical days for children participating in school sports for the 2026-2027 school year.  Please call ahead and schedule your child for their sports physical.   Appointments can be scheduled from June 22nd to August 7th.  To schedule your appointment or with any questions, please call 353-8700.   Please pick up a sports physical form to fill out before your child’s appointment. Each child will receive a goodie bag and water bottle with their sports physical.  Children up to date on their immunizations will receive an extra gift.

Copper Country Angel Mission Starts Annual Socks & Undies Drive for Local Students   Help Local Students Start the School Year with Confidence   Copper Country Angel Mission is launching its annual Socks & Undies Drive to collect new socks and underwear for local children in need, from toddlers through teenagers. The annual Copper Country Rock and Mineral Club Gem and Mineral Show will be held again this year at a new location: the Hancock Middle School at 501 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI across from Portage Hospital. Show dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday August 7, 8 and 9. An array of vendors will have gems, minerals, fossils, copper, and gift items for sale.
