Historically, Jibba Jabba invites only high-caliber snowboarders in the industry. Now, underdog riders can earn their spot in a fresh way – by putting down their best moves Friday night ahead of Saturday’s competition. 40 people will be able to register on Friday, Feb. 13 starting at 4 p.m. Helmets are required and all ages are welcome. Guy Consolmagno, SJ, the former head of the Vatican Observatory, and now current head of the Vatican Observatory Foundation, with a specialty in meteorites, is a Jesuit brother who will come to both Houghton and Chassell for a series of presentations. He will be giving 1colloquium and 3 presentations for the public from February 19-21, 2026. His last presentation on February 21 st will be geared towards children and their families.
