The speaker will be Lisa Nelson, a Copper Country League of Women Voters member and a member of the UP Rank MI Vote team. She will explain ranked-choice voting, a system which gives voters more choices and power by allowing voters to rank candidates in order of preference.     The Chassell Post 6507 VFW and Auxiliary will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 11, from 2pm-6pm. Appointments are available by calling 906-449-1450, but walk-ins are welcome. All blood donated through the UP Regional Blood Center stays in the Upper Peninsula and helps patients in need at one of the 12 Upper Peninsula hospitals. One donation can save up to 3 lives, and there is an urgent need for all blood types.
