    We are now accepting applications for the 2026 26th Annual Holiday Art Sale, to be held at the Marquette Regional History Center on Saturday, November 14 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. There is limited space for this show and there will not be a tent this year.. Incomplete applications will be an automatic disqualification via the jury from the sale.     The Marquette Area Sister Cities Partnership is proud to announce the 2026 incoming delegation from our sister city Higashiomi, Japan, celebrating our 47th year of sister city relations. A delegation of seven Higashiomi citizens will arrive in Marquette on July 19 and depart on July 29, 2026, Our seven delegates are the Deputy Mayor, a Higashiomi City Council member, Higashiomi City Staff, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Higashiomi International Exchange Association, and Higashiomi citizens.     HARVEY, MI – Silver Creek Church will host its annual Backpack SOS community outreach on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Silver Creek Church in Harvey.   This year marks the 20th year Silver Creek Church has provided backpacks and school supplies to local children. The drive-thru event is open to children Pre-K through 12th grade.
