The June meeting of the Houghton-Keweenaw Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP) will be held on Monday, June 1st at Slims in Mohawk. The business meeting will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by a family style dinner. The guest speaker is Ethan Deshestsky from Erickson Crawle Funeral Home who will speak on funeral preplanning. Eagle Mine will host a series of community forums throughout Marquette County to provide updates on its operations and engage directly with local residents. The forums are designed to create an open, two-way dialogue between Eagle Mine and the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the current status of Eagle Mine, receive updates on recent activities, and ask questions directly to members of the Eagle Mine team.
