PWPL is once again partnering with Feeding America West Michigan in the Gather2Grow summer meals program and will serve as a pickup site for shelf stable meals. The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library’s (ICPL) Summer Reading Program is in full swing! We have been busy offering events for all ages and even hit record-breaking attendance at our programs in June! 2,203 people attended programs in June, nearly surpassing our ENTIRE program attendance for last summer in a single month. Music on Third will be making its return to the Third Street Corridor this month and will be bringing some needed changes to help make it a safer and more enjoyable event for everyone. The first Music on Third of 2026 is scheduled for Thursday, July 16th, from 6 – 9 pm. Streets will be closed beginning at 5:30 pm, with musicians located between Ridge St. and Prospect St. performing from 6 – 8 pm and musicians between Prospect St. and Kaye Ave. performing from 7 – 9 pm.
