May 27, 2026. 7:00 PM Peter White Library Five seniors from Marquette Senior High School will present their 12th and final performance of Painless, the Opioid Musical at Peter White Library on Wednesday May 27, 2026. They performed this 7 times at MSHS during the school day in March, 2 times for the community and once each at Westwood High School and Negaunee High School in May. It was written by a University of Michigan Musical Theater student.

Join Tech Coach Christine Ault in a group setting for a series of special topics that go in-depth about different digital tools on your personal device and in the library. Registration is required. Copper Range Historical Museum in South Range is holding its Annual Open House on Saturday, May 30, from noon-3:00. Special presentation will include a display by Lucy Granroth of Copper Thread Genealogy & Research. Refreshments available. The museum will open for the season on Tuesday, June 2, from noon-3:00.

The June meeting of the Houghton-Keweenaw Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP) will be held on Monday, June 1st at Slims in Mohawk. The business meeting will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by a family style dinner. The guest speaker is Ethan Deshestsky from Erickson Crawle Funeral Home who will speak on funeral preplanning.
