12:00pm – 6:00pm   Chassell Heritage Center Open House

3:30pm – 4:30pm     Old Fashioned Cake Walk (in the Open Pavilion) By the Chassell Women’s Club

6:00 pm                    Children’s Parade in the Open Pavilion – Sponsored by Lou Ellyn Helman in Ron’s Memory

7:00 pm                    Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, Introduction of Queen Candidates, Sweepstakes Award, Citizen of the Year & Youth Citizen of the Year Awards, Strawberry Auction – sponsored by Aire Care & Keweenaw Chevrolet GMC

8:00pm                     Queen Crowning (time is approximate)

9:00pm – 1:00am      Dance at the Chassell VFW Post 6507 – Music by “Slick Nickel”

After Parade             BBQ Chicken by Chassell Firefighters and First responders

After Parade             Live Music by “Lightning Ridge” in the open pavilion – Sponsored by Keweenaw Petroleum Services

12:00pm – 4:00pm    Chassell Heritage Center Open House

12:00pm – 3:00pm    At the Chassell Beach, The Michigan Tech Great Lakes Research Center (GLRC):  Hands on demonstration on how the Great Lakes are studied by scientists.  All ages welcome!
