Copper Country Angel Mission Starts Annual Socks & Undies Drive for Local Students   Help Local Students Start the School Year with Confidence   Copper Country Angel Mission is launching its annual Socks & Undies Drive to collect new socks and underwear for local children in need, from toddlers through teenagers. The goal is to help every school-aged child begin the year with dignity, comfort, and the confidence that comes from having brand-new essentials.   Distribution The Angel Mission is again partnering with The Salvation Army – Copper Country – Bread of Life Center to distribute these essentials through CCAM’s

Better Together will meet on Thursday, August 13 at 9:30 at the Zion Lutheran Church on 400 Ingot Street in Hancock. The speaker and special music will be provided by Yvonne Blake of Ontonagon.  Yvonne is a professional recording artist and composer. In addition to her music, she will speak on, “Women Walking With Women.”  Her topic fits perfectly with the goal of Better Together. All area women are invited to attend this fun and inspiring event. A brunch will be served and there is a suggested donation of $10.  All proceeds over the cost of the event will be
