Middle schoolers invited to Heads UP, July 21 in Hancock Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has partnered with UP Health System – Portage for Heads UP – a Youth Wellbeing Event, an exciting day of food, fun and fitness for students entering grades five through eight. This July, Kestner Waterfront Park will transform into a world of knights, magic, and high‑flying spectacle as the Kingdom of Wonders Medieval Circus brings its acclaimed Renaissance‑themed show to Houghton. Gay VFD Auxiliary 4th of July sale.  Join us in Gay for the first big sale. New merchandise from weeks of donations have been collected and ready for you to take in some great deals.  Enjoy baked goods, coffee, cold beverages and popcorn.  In  addition to the sale the Township will have hot dogs, cold drinks including beer and Gay T-Shirts.  So invite your friends and family to this years 4th of July Celebration of our countries 250th Birthday.  Come join in the fun and support the firefighters and the Community of Gay/Sherman Township.
