Sessions will include a combination of talks, seated meditation, and movement practices. The production offers free admission for every performance, creating an accessible and family‑friendly highlight for the summer season. The Kingdom of Wonders is a theatrical, story‑driven circus that replaces animals and traditional clown acts with immersive storytelling, acrobatics, aerial artistry, juggling, and comedy. Audiences follow a brave knight and his sidekick as they attempt to reclaim the kingdom from a mischievous witch and her dragon. The show blends modern circus

  • Freedom Monument Installed At Harlow Park

    July 4, 2026  11:00am  Harlow Park The Freedom Monument podiums have been installed at Harlow Park (corner of W Washington St and N 7th St) within the Veterans Memorial Mall. A formal dedication ceremony will take place on July 4, 2026 at 11:00am as a part of the American Legion Post 44 Independence Day event. In addition to their commemorative function, the granite podiums will serve as a platform for ongoing education and civic engagement, offering space for community groups and classrooms.   • “We Declare” Reading of the Declaration of Independence

    On July 4, we mark 250 years since the signing of our Declaration of Independence. After its signing, copies of the Declaration were sent across the land, often to be read aloud at a community gathering. Called “We Declare,” the reading will begin at noon at the Rotary Pavilion in Kestner Waterfront Park, Houghton. Attendees will read the Declaration, one paragraph at a time. All are welcome to read. In addition to the public reading, the League will be offering free copies of the U.S. Constitution. There is a space on the back of each copy for the person to sign a pledge
