Tuesday January 20, 2026.  6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Great Room. Families with youth of all ages can attend this special storytime. PJ’s are highly encouraged! Kids are encouraged to bring a stuffie friend who can sleep overnight at the library (it is highly recommended that kids do NOT bring their favorite stuffie friend to stay overnight). Kids will be able to pick up their stuffie friend the following morning, along with a picture of what fun things their stuffie friend did while overnight at the library. Tuesdays, January (6, 13, 20, 27) 2026.  6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Peter White Public Library Heritage Room.  Mediate Marquette and PWPL have collaborated to offer a weekly, in-person mindfulness meditation program. The sessions begin at 6:00 pm followed by a period of fellowship. Dr. Debra Smith, a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and psychologist, will deliver brief talks exploring various aspects of meditation and its impact on our lives. Registration is underway for Savvy Caregiver, a nationally recognized educational training program for family members caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia or memory loss and are living at home. Savvy Caregiver is designed to give caregivers relevant knowledge, skills, and mastery to support the person living with dementia and to take care of themselves.
